Big...as in HUGE!!!

After my 3 weeks vacation in Chino, Ca. with my nieces, hubby picked me up from his trip to Calgary. Since we are already in California, he decided to take me to Sequoia National Park. All the while I thought a park is usually in a flat lowland...sorry for my ignorance....and very excited I was while he was driving until I noticed that the road kept on winding and the elevation was rising so fast. Oh my God!!! we  are going up the mountains with all the steep ravines on the sides. I think you have to be an expert driver....modesty aside, my husband for me is one. Well, to shun my nervousness away, I focused my eyes at the breathtaking view of the mountains. Fall started and the leaves that were changing colors attracted me so much plus the rocks in their unusual shapes made me wonder how creative God is.
We started from 200 feet elevation and when the tall, sweet smelling pines showed up we were already at 7,000 feet with more than an hour driving. After long sitting  was a winding path going up and down waiting for us to reach our destination which is the Sequoia National Park and there standing tall and strong the oldest living tree on earth which is named General Sherman

. I consider myself very lucky because not all have seen what I 've seen.
