Had been traveling a lot

As i was looking through my Facebook pages, I stumbled on one of the apps which have in my list,  the US Traveler Challenge. Modesty aside, i rank number one from the list because there are only 3  US states that I haven't been yet. Alaska is one of the three which I am so curious to reach and feel how it is to be there. Since childhood, my idea of that place is white because of snow and ice and chilling and life is hard but seeing the ads, watching tv series about life there, my interest to see that place grows. Hopefully someday. Cruising will be best.
Winter had been brutal this year, long and cold and it was so hard for me and my husband but life is a struggle and there's no reason to stop moving wherever the roads lead us. For more than two years of living on the road, I learn to love the beauty of winter no matter how harsh it was, I also learn to like the smell of fuel and the nerve breaking noise of some trucks at night at the truckstop. I even learn to feel at home in every restrooms and bathrooms we happen to stop. Most of them are far beautiful than ours at home. I am learning and I am happy.
My crafts and sewing  while on the road with hubby driving make my time pass unnoticed.
I am still looking forward to complete the list of US states.

Great to be home

Three weeks on the road, that's pretty long for wintertime.  Boots, sweaters, scarves, thick socks, gloves, bonnet, and winter coats are all in the trunk. We traveled in several states from southeast to mid and northeast and a little of north west. Our mini pantry was packed with foodstuff plus the cooler with all the bottled water ready for the powder juice of different flavors. My husband loves drinking juices but not plain water. With our new venture, new places had been added to my list and to my photo folders. Most places we usually delivered were situated at industrial parks. Everything we loaded were new to me. Well...i am happy, i am learning.

Now we are home to unpack and pack again for the next trip. Fill the pantry, see and bathe the dogs, enjoy some precious moments with the people we love, update bills, visit some thrift stores, and most of all go to church on Sunday to thank the Lord for all HIS blessings.

New Venture, New Adventure

If you are in the US, you will see a lot of recreational vehicle around or they call it RV for short. In our experience for almost two years in the field of delivering rv's to dealers from manufacturers, it is quite an easy job but not a good source of income...that is if you are a person full of bills waiting on your desk once you get home after a couple of weeks on the road. Driving empty going back to US after delivery takes a lot of fuel expense especially if you came from Canada, it is costly there. The good part of the job is reaching different states and Canada provinces without extra costs not unless you will stop at National Parks and Amusement centers. There is also time to visit family and friends. I can say that this job is best suited to people who love to travel and see places and doesn't have a lot of bills piling on the table.                             Lately.we realized that no matter how hard my husband do the job, we still run short of money. Yes, I love seeing places and friends but I don't like the endless bills so we decided to seek a new venture using our dear Dodge, we are on the second week of our new adventure. We still travel and see places, we still park at truck stop and travel centers, we still sleep in our pick up, we still live a thrifty life. The only difference is I am learning how to roll the straps perfectly.

The crafty side of me

After a couple of weeks on the road, we visited our house in Kansas...saw our the dogs, slept in our comfy bed and watched some favorite tv shows. I was able to browse my Pinterest  and got  the idea on how I can make use of my empty soy sauce and wine bottles, and even my jelly jars caught my attention. I had all my materials ready and put them in our pickup...feeling crafty!!!
When I was 6 years old I remember how I created different objects from sticky mud, there was no money to buy colored clay during those times, I have to dig in our backyard  for clay , add a little water and started molding. From then on my passion for crafting and creating started.

Sorry about the pictures, I took them while our pickup was running. I was so excited to share them.
